How it all began...
Doctors Jeremy Hodges, Shane West, Frank McClure, Brent Chandler came together in 2011 to break ground on what is now Lake Crest Animal Clinic.
After an exhaustive search for an ideal location to build a new clinic, we settled on an undeveloped plot of land at the corner of John Hawkins Parkway and Lake Crest Dr. Extensive amounts of earth moving and "dirt work" were needed to bring the ground level up enough to be able to build upon. A large retaining wall was built to stabilize the lot and the building process began. The building was completed in June 2012 and Lake Crest was finally able to open its doors to the public later that same month.
Initially, all of the partners split time at Lake Crest from day to day. Dr. Sara Choquette joined our team as an associate in August of 2016 and Dr. Traci Williams, most recently, joined us in September of 2020.
To allow ample time for all of our patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we ask that when possible, an appointment is requested in advance.
However, we understand that life doesn't always adhere to a set schedule and we happily accept walk-ins as needed. While we do our best to work in walk-ins as quickly as possible, we do ask your understanding that they will be seen as time permits and that emergency cases will always receive first priority.
Payment is expected in full at the time of service.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, Discover, Mastercard, American Express, and CareCredit. Our staff understands that veterinary services can be expensive. That's why Lake Crest Animal Clinic accepts CareCredit where patients can make special arrangements and break down their payment into 6 monthly installments with no interest financing.
It only takes a few minutes to apply for CareCredit and you can apply at our office, over the phone, or online here: CareCredit

Patient Arrival Policy
For the protection of our patients and clients, we ask that all dogs brought into the clinic be kept securely on a leash while in our waiting area and exam rooms. All cats must arrive in a secure cat carrier or on a leash.
